The GPAC502 is an aluminum center column adapter that allows the center column to be adjusted to almost any angle - from an upright vertical position to a horizontal position to a downward vertical position - or anything in between. One end of the center column is equipped with a 3/8-16 connection for most tripod heads, the other end has a sandbag or ballast slot. An object can be hung from the other end to improve balance and stability. The center column is also suitable for panoramic photography. Loosen the rotary knob for the panorama lock to enable rotations and 360-degree panorama shots. The integrated quick-release plate of the GPAC502 is equipped with an ARCA mount that can be used with Arca heads. There are two anti-slip pins on the underside of the plate. There are also additional ¼-20 and 3/8-16 mounting points on the underside of the plate so that it can be attached to a video quick release plate or a range of other options.
