The +18 macro lens was specially developed for underwater use with smartphones and enables high-precision close-ups of small marine animals. With a magnification of +18 diopters, it reduces the minimum focus distance to 30-53mm and allows up to 3x magnification. The lens construction consists of three elements in three groups with optical glass and BBAR multi-coating for high light transmission and image sharpness. The housing is made of anodized aerospace-grade aluminium and is waterproof to a depth of 60m. With an M67 threaded connection, the lens is compatible with many common underwater housings. The product is suitable for both hobby users and scientific applications in the marine sector.
