With the KOWA-SYSTEM astro adapter ring TSN-AS1.25K (with knurled screw), Kowa PROMINAR TSN-99/88/66 spotting scopes can be equipped with standard 1.25"" astro eyepieces and adapters to observe and photograph the night sky. In combination with the Kowa EX16 1.6 extender, even objects in deep space can be observed. One of the greatest advantages of the KOWA SYSTEM is the possibility of using terrestrial observation equipment for astronomical observations. Use existing 1.25"" astro eyepieces with a Kowa spotting scope for astronomical observations. There are two models of the adapter ring: one with knurled screws and one with grub screws. The model with knurled screws makes it easier and quicker to change eyepieces. These rings can only be used with PREMIUM spotting scopes of the TSN-99/88/66 series.
